The students here are given the feeling of 'Home away from Home' in the company of all teachers and their peers. The school ambience gives a happy vibrant feeling. The extracurricular activities of the school are directed by the four house groups namely Desh Bhakt, Artist, Sairt and Scientist. The houses are guided by the House incharge and captains. The individual classes are again subdivided into groups of 6-9 students each. These groups are also having their own leaders, mentors, managers, task masters etc. So that every student is assigned with certain responsibilities. A performance cum behavioral Tracker is also implemented in the class to monitor and enhance the class behavior.
We at Yog-Bharti Public School, C-Block, New Ashok Nagar, Delhi-110096, There are host of activities which gives a feeling of oneness and happiness among the students. Some of the practices are:
(i) activity based classes on every Saturday relay. (ii) Meditation programmes through yoga classes. (iii) Singing, dancing, art and craftwork under the guidance of able teachers.
(iv) Smart classroom facility thro Tata class Edge' (v) projector facility to run any other audiovisual. (vi) learning takes place with other interesting activities like quit, music, dramatics.
(vii) Exposure to various student leadership programme viz, ubuntu, slam out, MUN, Litread. (viii) Meritorious students are given the opportunity to sit for various scholarship examinations an Olympiads. (ix) The annual event Balmela provides opportunities for teachers and students to exchange ideas, to arouse the interest of the parents and public in the abilities of students in different sections like the science. Math, SST, Games and Art crafts. Mela becomes a crowd puller with students' own cultural programme studded with Fancy dress, dance, music, Nukkad natak.
(x) Picnic, outdoor excursions and sightseeing tours are arranged. According to our chairman, we not only aim to ensure that children attain mastery over the syllabus but also pledge that our children practice good values, skills and knowledge."
